From prompt to MP4.
Claude turns a prompt into a video saved as an HTML file. The export skill records that file frame by frame and adds the music and sound effects, so you get an MP4 ready to post.
You need Node.js 18 or newer and Google Chrome on your computer.
Two ways to export.
With Claude Code Easiest
- Unzip the skill into your Claude skills folder:
unzip gmotion-export.zip -d ~/.claude/skills
On Windows, extract it to%USERPROFILE%\.claude\skills. - Paste a prompt into Claude Code and answer its questions. Claude saves your video as an HTML file.
- Ask Claude to export it to MP4. The first time, it installs what the skill needs. The MP4 lands next to the HTML.
On your own
- Make the video in Claude and download the HTML file. If Claude used your logo file, put it in the same folder.
- Unzip the skill, open a terminal in the
gmotion-exportfolder and install it once:npm install
- Export your video:
node export.mjs path/to/video.html
The MP4 lands next to the HTML.
What you get.
The same video you previewed
Every frame is recorded at 30 fps, at the exact size the prompt asks for: 1080×1920, 1080×1080, 1920×1080 or 1080×1350.
Music and sound effects
Built from the sound cues Claude writes into the HTML: a beat, whooshes, pops and chimes, all generated, no samples.
Nothing leaves your computer
The skill runs on your machine with your own Chrome. Your brand and your video are never uploaded.
